Tulsa Youth Symphony will present our 2024 Fall Concert on Sunday, December 8 at 3:00 P.M. in the Union High School Performing Arts Center (6636 S. Mingo Road).
This concert is also TYS' Alumni Homecoming, which features select alumni on stage and welcomes former TYS members in the audience. It's a chance to honor the past, delight in the present, and celebrate the Sound of Tulsa's Future!
Spring Serenade is the final concert of the Tulsa Youth Symphony season and a true showcase of their students' talent. Featuring solos from TYS Concerto Competition winners along with full repertoire from each orchestra, this robust performance is the epitome of a Season Finale.
TYS is excited to welcome auditioned students & parents to our first rehearsal of the season! Families will attend an informational session beginning promptly at 2pm in Gussman Hall of the University of Tulsa’s Lorton Performance Center, and then attend a sight-reading rehearsal with their Orchestras.
Students may dress casually for this day and should be prepared with their instruments and a pencil.

TYS welcomes string students at Ascending & Advanced levels to our Prestige Performance Series. Students will rehearse all day with free and open to the public performance at 5:00pm.
The Prestige Performance Series is a high-level accelerated weekend program open to all Northeast Oklahoma student musicians that provides specialized coaching, guest conductors, and concentrated ensemble rehearsals in a professional, energetic setting. The musicians’ hard work culminates in a performance for their families and the community. This series provides a unique opportunity for area students to learn new skills, prepare for advanced auditions, and expand their imaginations, all without a prohibitive time commitment.'
The second of our three concerts in our season, the Ron Wheeler Memorial Concert and Alumni Homecoming is a chance for TYS musicians to captivate our audience with passionate playing, warm patrons' hearts with their dedication, and reflect on the 50 year legacy of Conductor Emeritus, Ronald Wheeler.
This concert is also TYS' Alumni Homecoming, which features select alumni on stage and welcomes former TYS members in the audience. It's a chance to honor the past, delight in the present, and celebrate the Sound of Tulsa's Future!

The University of Tulsa and Tulsa Youth Symphony are joining this summer to host a Summer Strings Camp!
The Tulsa Summer Strings Camp is a five-day program beginning on Monday, July 17 in the morning and ending with the final showcase concert Friday, July 22nd in the evening.

Larry Babb, a Tulsa-based artist, is selling over 100 pieces of his and other local artists’ artwork for a week at the Promenade Mall with a portion of the proceeds going toward TYS.
We will have an “Art Opening” on Tuesday, November 15th with light refreshments to kick-off the fundraiser! The sale will run from Tuesday, November 15th-Saturday, November 19th.
