For two decades, Earl 'Pete' Peterson has poured his heart, humor, and unwavering passion into the students of the Tulsa Youth Symphony. As conductor of the Concert Orchestra, Mr. Peterson has shaped the lives of hundreds of young musicians cultivating not only their talent, but their confidence, discipline, and love of music. His leadership is a cornerstone of the TYS experience, and as he prepares to take his final bow this spring, we invite you to help us celebrate his remarkable legacy.

Together we now carry forward Ron Wheeler’s spirit of generosity, his love for music, and his boundless passion for life.

Tulsa Youth Symphony will honor Ron by continuing the work he so devotedly championed, nurturing the next generation of musicians and leaders with the same dedication and enthusiasm that he so freely gave. 

The Greg Moore Scholarship Fund has been established by his surviving wife, Mrs. Betsy Moore, to provide scholarship assistance to Tulsa Youth Symphony graduating seniors. This college scholarship fund serves to honor Greg Moore, who himself was an alumnus of the Tulsa Youth Symphony in the mid-1970s. His dedication to the love of music is a legacy that deserves to be celebrated.
